LESSON ONE- Drum Names
The First Lesson is to Learn the DRUM NAMES.
There are at least 8 Drum Parts that you can see in the first picture.
Dont worry, you only have to learn the Drum Parts in the SECOND PICTURE.
Look at the Picture Below it and MEMORIZE the Names of the 4 Drum Parts..

A BEAT is a Rhythm that you play on the Drums.
When you hear "boom-chuck-boom-chuck-boom-chuck-boom-chuck" that's a BEAT.
I will show you the EASIEST BEAT ever.... it only has TWO PARTS
1- Play the HI-HAT and BASS TOGETHER
2- Play the HI-HAT and SNARE TOGETHER
NOW REPEAT IN A REGULAR TIMING. 1 - 2 - 1 - 2 !!BOOM-CHUCK-BOOM-CHUCK!!
That's it! CONGRATULATIONS!!! You have just played your first BEAT! :)
