FOURTH LESSON- PLAYING NOTES!
The Fourth Lesson is to learn the NOTES that you will play on the Cello!
We will go SLOW and we will begin with the 1STRING the thinnest one.
Playing OPEN means NOT touching the String.
If you play 1STRING OPEN (not touching it) you are playing NOTE A.
Now, if you press on the 1STRING with your 1FINGER on the 1LINE you are playing NOTE Bb (B flat).
If you press on the 2LINE, you are playing NOTE B.
Now you have to switch Fingers. When you get to 3LINE you have to play with 2FINGER
Ok, so if you press on 1STRING with 2FINGER on 3LINE you are playing NOTE C.
Keep going and play all 7 NOTES on the 1STRING. :) Remember to SWITCH FINGERS.
