What is Worship and Why do we do it?
WORSHIP IS....
LOVE, OBEDIENCE AND GIVING THANKS
The most important thing is to LOVE GOD and OBEY HIM.
Read the Bible every day and do everything you can to follow what Jesus said. This will make you a cleaner person and a person that is able to worship GOD with a clean heart. This way, everything you do is REAL and SERIOUS.
Pray in every moment possible. In your heart always remember that GOD is ALWAYS with you and that HE sees everything you do. He is always Protecting you and Blessing you in every moment. Thank HIM every chance you get and for everything you receive, no matter how small it may seem. EVERY Blessing comes from GOD.
GOD'S SPIRIT
Ask GOD to Bless you more and more every day with HIS SPIRIT. Ask Him to give you HIS Power and HIS Wisdom in everything you do. Ask HIM for Strength and you will be surprised by how much HE will Give you. GOD wants to give you all of these things, but you have to ASK. After you ask, BELIEVE that HE has given it to you.
HE said that once you ASK it will be yours- so BELIEVE!
ACTION
Having GOD'S Wisdom, Courage, Power and Strength means NOTHING unless you USE WHAT HE GIVES YOU FOR GOOD!
Never allow yourself to stop serving HIM.
After you Follow Jesus and Pray for HIS Spirit, you must then ACT!
Jesus said if you don't USE what HE Gives you, HE will Take it away!
So be careful, always USE what HE Gives you, no matter how small you think it is.
In music, that means PRACTICING YOUR INSTRUMENTS.
If you want to Worship GOD through Music then there's only one way to do it, by practicing as much as possible and learning as much as you can.
WHY DO WE WORSHIP GOD?.....
When we Worship GOD, We are telling HIM that we BELIEVE HE IS OUR KING.
That we TRUST HIM.
That we LOVE HIM.
That we are THANKFUL TO HIM FOR EVERYTHING.
Worshipping GOD is like telling your Dad and Mom that you love them. They feel really good inside every time you say that because you are telling them something good that they want to hear. GOD also wants to hear us say WE LOVE YOU to HIM and we should LOVE HIM for all the GOOD things HE has done for us!
Everything GOOD that you see has come from GOD.
Family, friends, home, food, water, sunlight, trees, animals- everything!
If it wasn't for GOD, we wouldn't exist.
So Worshipping HIM is saying I LOVE YOU and THANK YOU to GOD
